Tajik Athletes Win Another Bronze Medal at the Asian Championships in Samarkand

DUSHANBE, 01.05.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik athletes won another bronze medal at the 2023 Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint Asian Championships in Samarkand.
On April 28, among U-18 and U-23, Tajik athletes in 200-meter canoe rowing (C-2) (Umar Rustamov and Muhammadi Rajabov) and 1000-meter canoe double (C-2). 2) (Bobojon Boboyananov and Amirjon Bobojonov) took the third place.
It should be noted on the second day of the championships, Tajik athletes won a bronze medal in the canoe-four (С-4) race at a distance of 500 meters among U-18.
The youth team of Tajikistan included Firdavs Sharipov, Jaloliddin Sobirov, Shuhrat Shakarov, and Komron Shakarov.
The 2023 Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint Asian Championships was held from April 26 through April 30 in Samarkand.
