Tajikistan to Host the International Paragliding Competitions for the First Time

DUSHANBE, 18.05.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – For the first time in history, Tajikistan will host the international competitions for the Cup of Dushanbe in paragliding.
The competitions are initiated by the administration of Dushanbe and the Federation of Paragliding and Ultralight Aviation of Tajikistan.
Competitions will be held from May 20 through May 21.
The place for the competitions was the Kurpay mountain of the Rudaki district (May 20) and the Kharangon mountain of the Varzob district.
Athletes from the US, France, Russia, India, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan will take part in the competitions.
It should be noted that the Paragliding Federation was registered in Tajikistan on January 23, 2023 by the Ministry of Justice.
