Draw for the 2023 Dushanbe Judo Grand Prix Took Place Yesterday

DUSHANBE, 02.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The draw for the 2023 Dushanbe Grand Prix took place yesterday.
The Grand Prix will be held from June 2 through June 4 as part of the World Judo Tour of the International Judo Federation.
Today, judokas will compete in the weight categories up to 60 and 66 kg among men and in the weight categories up to 48 kg, 52 kg and 57 kg among women.
Tomorrow, athletes in the weight categories up to 73 kg and 81 kg among men and in the weight categories up to 63 kg and 70 kg among women will take to the tatami.
On the third — final day, judokas will compete in the weight categories up to 90 kg, 100 kg and over 100 kg among men and up to 78 kg and over 78 kg among women.
The winners and prize-winners of the 2023 Dushanbe Grand Prix, along with medals, will be awarded cash prizes. The winners in each weight category will receive €3,000, the silver winners — €2,000, and the bronze winners — €1,000.
Tajikistan will be represented by 34 athletes, including 28 men and 6 women.
