Nasrullo Kabirov Appointed Chief Referee of the Asian Cup Semi-Final Match Between Iran and Japan

DUSHANBE, 29.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – 38-year-old FIFA referee Nasrullo Kabirov from Tajikistan has been appointed the chief referee of the semi-final match of the 2023 Asian U-17 Cup between Iran and Japan.
The match will be held today at the Thammasat Stadium in the Thai city of Pathum Thani.
Kabirov will be assisted on the lines by FIFA referees Akmal Buriev from Tajikistan and Ismailzhan Talipzhanov from Kyrgyzstan. The backup referee will be FIFA referee Ahmed Faisal Al-Ali from Jordan. Vladislav Zeitlin from Uzbekistan will inspect the work of the referee team. The general coordinator will be the head of the international department of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Davlatmand Islomov.
For Kabirov, this will be the fourth match as the chief referee at the 2023 Asian U-17 Cup in Thailand. Previously, he arbitrated the group stage matches between India — Vietnam (1-1), Malaysia — Laos (2-1) and Japan — India (8-4). He also was a backup referee at the match between Afghanistan — South Korea (0-4), as well as in the quarterfinal match between Iran — Yemen (0-0, on penalties – 4-2).
