DUSHANBE, 07.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The national futsal team of Tajikistan played the first match at the 2023 Arab Nations Cup that started in Saudi Arabia.

In the debut match, Tajik team lost to the team of Libya with a score of 1-2.

In another match of the group, Saudi Arabia and Algeria played in a draw (4-4).

In the second round, on June 8, Tajikistan will play against Saudi Arabia at 21:00 Dushanbe time.

Following the results of the group stage, two teams from each group, as well as the top two third-placed teams, will advance to the playoffs, where they will form quarter-final pairs.
