Tajik Futsal Team Kicks Off a Training Camp in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 01.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – As part of preparation for the 2023 Arab Nations Futsal Cup, the national futsal team of Tajikistan has started a training camp in Dushanbe.
Team’s head coach Payrav Vohidov invited 15 players to this camp, including 3 goalkeepers and 12 field players.
The camp will last until June 2. On Saturday, the team will leave for Jeddah to take part in the 2023 Arab Nations Futsal Cup, which will be held from June 6 through June 16.
Tajik team will play in Group A against Libya (June 6), Saudi Arabia (June 8) and Algeria (June 10).
Group B will include Morocco, Comoros, Kuwait and Lebanon. Egypt, Mauritania, Palestine and Iraq will play in Group C.
Following the results of the group stage, two teams from each group, as well as the top two third-placed teams, will advance to the playoffs, where they will form quarter-final pairs.
