Tajik Team to Play at the 2023 CAFA Futsal Сup

DUSHANBE, 30.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The first ever tournament among national futsal teams – 2023 CAFA Futsal Cup will be held under the auspices of the Central Asian Football Association.
Competitions will be held from July 23 through July 30 at the Dushanbe Palace of Tennis and Water Sports.
The tournament will be attended by the teams of Tajikistan, Iran, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan.
In total, 15 matches will be played within the tournament. The competitions will be held in a round robin system in one round, where each team will play with each. The winning team will be determined by the number of points scored.
This tournament will be an important step for the Tajik team in preparing for the 2024 Asian Cup qualifiers, which will be held from October 7 through October 11 in Dushanbe. The rivals of the Tajik team in the Asian Cup qualifiers will be Myanmar, Palestine and India.
