Tajikistan’s Judo Federation Strengthens Cooperation with the Olympic Council of Asia

DUSHANBE, 20.06.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The Vice-President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Otabek Umarov, who took part in the Dushanbe Grand Prix, highly appreciated the efforts of Tajikistan’s Judo Federation for organizing and holding the first international judo tournament.
During the meeting of the President of Tajikistan’s Judo Federation Ismoil Mahmadzoir with the Vice-President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Otabek Umarov, the parties discussed the development of sports in Tajikistan, including judo.
It should be noted that the Dushanbe Grand Prix was attended by 315 athletes from 40 countries.
According to the results, the team of Tajikistan took first place. Tajik athletes won 3 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals.
