Construction of 122 Healthcare Facilities Continues in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 14.07.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajikistan is building 122 healthcare facilities, including 77 primary health care facilities, 36 hospitals and 9 private medical institutions.
36 institutions were built and put into operation in 6 months of 2023, including 31 primary health care institutions, 4 hospitals, and 1 private clinic.
Also, 118 institutions were repaired (84 primary health care institutions, 34 hospitals), repair work continues in 137 institutions.
In addition, during this period, in order to improve the level and quality of medical services to the population, the ministry purchased medicines and modern medical equipment.
