DUSHANBE, 30.08.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – A meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the building of the Government of the country under the chairmanship of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Head of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon.

During the work of the assembly, the report of the Chairman of the Environmental Protection Committee, Bahodur Sheralizoda, was first heard about the implementation of the resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations on the «International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation».

The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan decided that the Organizing Committee for the implementation of the resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations on the «International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation» must take practical measures in the established terms for the implementation of the Action Plan for the implementation of the fifth initiative of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on the declaration of «2025 — International Year of Glacier Protection».

Then, drafts of a number of laws, including On the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On introduction of additions to the Tax Code of the Republic of Tajikistan», On the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On the State Budget of the Republic of Tajikistan Tajikistan for 2023», On the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On Advocacy», On the Draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On the Technological Park», On the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On Invention», On the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On Road Traffic», on the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On Fire Safety» and on the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On the State Financial Control Agency and Combatting Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan», were discussed and submitted for consideration to the Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, a number of other issues were reviewed, such as the State Program for Scientific and Innovative Development in the Republic of Tajikistan, the State Program for Reproductive Health for 2023-2027, and the Medium-Term Program for the Development of Productive Employment in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2023-2027 and the Medium-Term Program for the Training of Professional Personnel of Primary and Secondary Vocational Education for 2023-2027.

After considering the issues of the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon, gave instructions for the timely and high-quality implementation of the issues of the next meeting and the previous tasks of the Government of the country.

Other assignments to the Government of the country and state bodies were entrusted regarding preparation for the autumn and winter period of 2023-2024, stockpiling of fuel, landscaping, environmental protection, efficient use of arable land, sufficient stock of agricultural products, worthy preparations for celebrating of state independence day throughout the country, expansion of development and construction works in honor of the 35th anniversary of state independence and other constructive measures.
