More Than 316,450 People Underwent a Medical Examination Over Six Month

DUSHANBE, 10.08.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – For 6 months of this year, 316,450 people underwent mandatory preliminary and periodic medical examinations, and 10.5 million somoni was received by the state budget.
There are 84 bacterioscopic laboratories in the republic, in all cities and districts this method is available free of charge and is fully provided with consumables.
Also, during this period, 12,979 sanitary and epidemiological conclusions were issued in the amount of 2.3 million somoni, which is 1,718 conclusions and 426,248 somoni more than in the same period last year.
In order to conduct additional days of immunization against measles and smallpox among children aged 6 months to 15 years in 59 cities and districts, 2,551,000 doses of vaccines were imported into the republic.
In order to meet the needs of the population in high-quality vaccines and immunize children, 2.43 million doses of relevant vaccines and immunization materials were imported into the country, including 2.43 million syringes of various types, as well as 45,000 safe containers for disposal.
According to the National Immunization Schedule, newborns and children under 16 years of age are vaccinated against tuberculosis, polio, hepatitis B, whooping cough, tetanus, hemophilia B, rotavirus, pneumococcal infection, measles, mumps and rubella, from 38.8 to 99.2%.
In addition, among 16-year-olds, immunization with the Diphtheria vaccine has begun, coverage has already reached 30%.
