Tajik Boxers Vohidov and Abroriddinov Start the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games with a Victory

DUSHANBE, 27.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik boxers Asror Vohidov and Muhammad Abroriddinov started the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games with a victory.
Vohidov (-57 kg) defeated Soulia Hammi from Laos in the first round and will fight against Salim Hussein from Bangladesh on September 30.
Abroriddinov, in the weight +92 kg, won a technical victory in the first fight against the representative of the United Arab Emirates Mohammad Al-Khefiti and on September 30 he will compete with Bahodir Jalolov from Uzbekistan.
Today other Tajik boxers Ruhafzo Haknazarova (-52 kg) will fight against the Indian athlete Novita Sinadia, Bahodur Usmonov (-63 kg) against Kazakhstan’s Ertugan Zeinullinov, and Davlat Boltaev (-92 kg) against Turkmen representative Aslanbek Achilov.
Earlier, other Tajik boxers Mehron Shafiev (51 kg), Dovud Mahkamov (71 kg), Bibinishastamo Kholova (60 kg) and Nigora Olimova (54 kg) lost in their first fights.
