Tajik Prosecutor General’s Office and the Relevant UK Departments Reach an Agreement to Sign MoU

DUSHANBE, 26.09.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – From September 24 through September 25 in London, the Prosecutor General of Tajikistan Yusuf Rahmon took part in the 28th session of the General Conference of the International Association of Prosecutors, as well as held bilateral meetings with the Director of Public Prosecutions for England and Wales Max Hill, the prosecutors general of other participating countries and a number of senior officials of Great Britain.
During the meetings at the Ministry of State for Home Affairs, the Ministry of State for Foreign Affairs and the British Security Service, the parties discussed joint cooperation in the exchange of operational information on the dangers and threats of international terrorism, provision of legal assistance in criminal cases, cybercrime, drug trafficking and other relevant issues.
It was reached an agreement to sign a memorandum of understanding between the Prosecutor General’s Office of Tajikistan and the relevant UK departments in the above areas.
