Cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany in “Green” Energy Discussed in Berlin

DUSHANBE, 30.11.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On November 27, an economic forum dedicated to energy cooperation and “green” energy was held at the Embassy of Tajikistan in Germany with the participation of political and economic circles of the host country, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps.
The forum focused on the possibilities for developing bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany in the field of “green” energy, as well as the prospects for its further expansion.
Guests of the event got acquainted with the wide possibilities of Tajikistan for establishing cooperation in the field of renewable energy, in particular hydropower.
In order to develop bilateral cooperation in this area, it was emphasized the need to attract foreign direct investment and introduce new technologies.
The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Germany called on German energy companies to take part in the implementation of initiatives and proposals voiced during the meeting of the heads of state of the Central Asian countries and Germany in the C5+1 format on September 29, 2023 in Berlin.
