Nine Tajik Junior Boxers Will Attend the World Boxing Championships

DUSHANBE, 24.11.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – From November 24 through December 4, the World Junior Boxing Championships will be held in Yerevan. Tajikistan will be represented by 9 athletes.
448 junior athletes from 58 countries are expected to participate in the tournament. Competitions will be held between boys and girls in 26 weight categories.
Tajik team includes Jahongir Kamolov (46 kg), Mansurkhuja Muminov (48 kg), Biloljon Iksanov (50 kg), Abubakr Kobilov (52 kg), Shodmehr Davlatov (54 kg), Abdullo Karimzoda (57 kg), Muhammadsulton Sultonov (60 kg), Abubakr Gafurov (66 kg) and Farinoz Abdulloeva (52 kg).
The competition will run until the quarter-finals from November 24 through November 30, the semi-finals on December 2 and the finals on December 3-4.
