DUSHANBE, 17.11.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On November 17, on the sidelines of the 56th plenary meeting of the CIS IPA in Bishkek, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali met with the Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbayev.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the expansion of the dialogue between the leaders of the highest chambers of the parliaments of the two states, which has become regular.
It was emphasized that this year the process of expanding bilateral relations was continued. During the state visit of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to Kazakhstan, which took place in May, a Declaration on Partnership Cooperation was signed between the two states, indicating the high level and content of bilateral cooperation.
The parties spoke about the situation and prospects for strengthening cooperation between the two states in various sectors, including further strengthening inter-parliamentary relations.
