DUSHANBE, 22.11.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the national football team of Tajikistan defeated Pakistan in the second match of the second round of the 2026 World Cup qualifier in Group G.
The match took place at the Islamabad Jinnah Stadium and ended with a score of 6-1 in favor of the Tajikistan.
On November 16, Tajikistan tied against Jordan in the first match of the second round of the 2026 World Cup qualifier in Group G.
Yesterday, another match of the group between Jordan and Saudi Arabia ended in favor of Saudi team with the score of 0-2.
Now the Tajik team with 4 points ranks second in the group and Saudi team with 6 points — first.
