DUSHANBE, 06.12.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Speaker of the National Assembly , Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali received the Ambassador of Pakistan to Tajikistan Muhammad Saeed Sarwar at his request.

Initially, Rustam Emomali congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to this position and wished him success in this direction.

It was noted with satisfaction that bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan is developing at the highest level thanks to mutual efforts and systematic political dialogue.

Along with this, interparliamentary cooperation was named one of the important areas of relations between the two states.

The parties discussed the state of cooperation between states in the economic, trade, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

An exchange of views took place regarding further strengthening of cooperation in the fight against terrorism, extremism, drug production and trafficking, transnational crime and other issues of mutual interest.
