Tajik National Team to Begin Preparations for the 2023 Asian Cup on December 16

DUSHANBE, 12.12.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The national football team of Tajikistan has decided on a plan to prepare for the 2023 Asian Cup, which will be held from January 12 through February 10 in Qatar.
The team will begin preparations on December 16. The first training camp will be held from December 16 through December 27 in Dubai. Then the team will move to Abu Dhabi, where from December 28 through January 7 it will hold a second training camp before the 2023 Asian Cup. On January 8, the delegation of the team will leave for Qatar.
Tajik team will play in Group A against Qatar, Lebanon and China.
In their opening match, Tajikistan will play against the China on January 13. In the second round on January 17, Tajik team will meet with Qatar. In the third round, country’s team will compete with Lebanon on January 22.
Two teams from each group, as well as the four best teams from among the third-place finishers, will reach the 1/8 finals of the 2023 Asian Cup.
