DUSHANBE, 06.12.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On December 4 in Kasane, 18th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage with participation of the representatives of UNESCO member states was launched.
Representatives of state parties to the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage taking part in the session, which will continue its work until December 9.
On December 5, during the session Tajikistan`s nomination «Traditions of Atlas and Adras weaving» was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
