Nine Athletes Will Represent Tajikistan at the Paris Grand Slam 2024

DUSHANBE, 19.01.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – From February 2 through February 4, the Tajik judo team will take part in the Paris Grand Slam 2024.
The tournament will be held with the participation of 600 athletes from 102 countries.
Tajikistan will be represented by 9 athletes, including Muhammadsoleh Kuvvatov, Mehrzod Sufiev (both -60 kg), Emomali Nurali, Obid Jebov (both -66 kg), Behruz Khojazoda, Abubakr Sherov (both -73 kg), Somon Mahmadbekov (-81 kg), Komronshoh Ustopiriyon (-90 kg) and Jahongir Majidov (-100 kg).
The total prize fund is €154,000. First place winners will receive prizes in all 14 weight categories of €5,000, silver medal holders — €3,000, and bronze medals — €1,500.
