Tajikistan and the U.S. Discuss Healthcare Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 22.02.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On February 21, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Jamoliddin Abdullozoda met with the U.S. Ambassador to Tajikistan Manuel Micaller.
It was noted that the ministry has established cooperation with the U.S. relevant departments.
In particular, memorandums of cooperation were signed with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USIAD) and the Center for Infectious Disease Control and Prevention, which will be valid until 2025.
The parties also discussed expanding cooperation in various areas of healthcare.
