Coaching Staff of the Tajik Team Announces Squad for the Matches against Saudi Arabia

DUSHANBE, 11.03.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The coaching staff of the national football team of Tajikistan announced the squad that will prepare for the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches in Group G against Saudi Arabia.
Head coach Georgian specialist Gela Shekiladze invited 25 players, including 3 goalkeepers, 8 defenders, 10 midfielders and 4 forwards.
The team will begin preparations today.
On March 18, the Tajik team leave for Riyadh for the match of the third round of the second stage of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Saudi Arabia. The match will take place on March 21 at the King Saud University stadium at 23:59 Dushanbe time.
Then the Tajik team will return to Dushanbe, where they will play a home qualifying match against Saudi Arabia. The match will take place on March 26 at the Dushaneb Central Republican Stadium at 20:00 local time.
