Italian Specialist Marco Raggini Becomes Head Coach of the Tajik U-17 Football Team

DUSHANBE, 16.03.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – 56-year-old Italian specialist Marco Ragini has become the new head coach of the Tajik U-17 football team.
Under his leadership, the country’s youth team will prepare for the 2025 Asian Cup qualifying tournament, which will take place in October this year.
Raggini is an Italian and San Marino football coach. He began his coaching career in San Marino. For many years, Rajini was part of the staff of the junior, youth and main teams of San Marino. He worked for several years in Switzerland, where he was an assistant coach at Chiasso and Bellinzona, as well as independently headed Locarno. His track record also includes work in clubs in Lithuania, Congo, Nigeria, Mongolia and Malaysia.
Since last year, Ragini has been the technical director of the Juventus Academy in Dushanbe and a consultant to the technical department of the Football Federation of Tajikistan .
He holds a UEFA Pro category coaching license.
