Tajik Boxer Usmonov Receives a Berth to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games

DUSHANBE, 12.03.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – Tajik boxer Bahodur Usmonov (63.5 kg) received a berth to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
In the quarterfinals of the first qualifying tournament for the Olympic Games, in Italy, Usmonov won over Japanese boxer Nishiyama Shion with a score of 3:2 by split decision and received a berth to the Paris Olympic Games.
Earlier, other Tajik boxers, bronze medalist of the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games Mijgona Samadova and gold medalist of the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games Davlat Boltaev, received berths to the Paris Olympic Games.
