The CIS Countries Continue to Develop Common Approaches to Ensuring the Quality of Higher Education

DUSHANBE, 20.03.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The meeting of the Commission in the field of ensuring the quality of education of the CIS member states was held on March 18, 2024. The event was held via video conference, attended by representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and the CIS Executive Committee.
During the meeting, approaches to the work of the Commission were discussed and agreed upon. It was decided to ask the members of the Commission to submit proposals to Rosobrnadzor by June 1, 2024 regarding the development of common approaches for cooperation between the CIS member states in the field of quality assessment of higher education.
It should be recalled that the Commission in the field of ensuring the quality of education of the Commonwealth states was established in accordance with the Decision of the Council for Cooperation in the field of Education of the CIS member States dated April 11, 2017. It was composed of representatives of 6 Commonwealth states. The work of the Commission is aimed at carrying out activities related to the procedures for independent assessment of the quality of education and public accreditation, and the development of common approaches to ensure the quality of higher education.
