DUSHANBE, 21.05.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On May 24, the official opening ceremony of 4 new intra-city tourist routes will take place at the capital “Kokhi Navruz,” which will be carried out on double-decker buses, reports the Tourism Development Department of the Dushanbe Mayor’s Office.

The event will be attended by the leadership of the relevant ministries and departments, representatives of the capital’s tourism service sector, including travel agencies, hotels and shopping centers, as well as the media and members of the Tajik Bloggers Association.

The responsible persons will make a presentation of new intra-city tourist routes.

It was reported that new routes will be opened with the aim of developing the tourism sector, presenting tourism opportunities, the potential of the capital, effective use, attracting more domestic and foreign tourists and, on this basis, introducing best practices in tourism programs to provide guests and tourists with a range of tourism services involving travel agencies.

It will be organized an evening tour of Dushanbe as part of the new routes. The residents and guests will get acquainted with the historical, cultural and tourist attractions of the capital.

During the tour, guides in Tajik, Russian and English will provide detailed information about the history, culture and rich past of the Tajik people, as well as the capital’s tourism opportunities.

It should be noted that the regular operation of intra-city tourist routes will begin on May 25 and will last until October 2024. A tour of the capital is organized at the first stage on weekends, and subsequently, within the framework of the needs of visitors and tourists, daily by purchasing an electronic ticket with the involvement of travel agencies.

In order to implement these routes, organizations providing services in the field of tourism were involved, including tourism and service agencies such as King Tour, Somon Travel and “Tour Tj.

As part of intra-city routes, the Dushanbe — Hissor route is also being activated, which will be operated every week on Sundays.
