Tajik National Clothing Presented at the Cultural EXPO in London

DUSHANBE, 21.05.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The Cultural Expo in London dedicated to the International Day of Cultural Diversity was held on May 18.
On the sidelines of the EXPO, a fashion show was organized by the Embassy, where models presented Tajik national outfits and narrated on the rich history of the embroidery patterns’ emergence. Moreover, a Tajik artist presented traditional Tajik music, playing on dutor.
Also, on the sidelines of the EXPO, the Embassy of Tajikistan in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland decorated the national cultural corner, where national costumes, kundals (Tajik traditional decorative painting) and national musical instruments were exhibited, whilst information on the rich history and culture of Tajiks was presented to the audience.
