German Development Bank Allocates €44.4 Million for Sebzor HPP

DUSHANBE, 26.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – In accordance with the amendments to the additional Agreement on the transfer of grant funds for the construction of the Sebzor hydropower plant in the Roshtkala district, signed between the German Development Bank, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan and Pamir Energy OJSC, a total of €44.4 million was allocated by the German Development Bank as a grant.
On July 25, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda and the General Director of Pamir Energy OJSC Amrikhon Raimov signed amendments to the Agreement on the transfer of grant funds for the construction of the Sebzor HPP.
Sebzor HPP was built in honor of the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence as part of one of the strategic goals — achieving complete energy independence and providing the population with environmentally friendly electricity.
