Minister of Industry and New Technologies Checks the Activities of Industrial Enterprises in Khujand

DUSHANBE, 12.01.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan Sherali Kabir visited several industrial enterprises in Khujand, such as Somon Group, Nassoji Khujand, Sugdiyon, Javoni, Sadaf and others.
Kabir talked with the heads of enterprises on the full use of production capacities, attracting foreign and domestic investments in the production process, creating new jobs, installing and commissioning modern equipment, automating production, introducing competitive and import substituting products.
The Ministry of Industry and New Technologies has developed a program for the accelerated industrialization of the country and a number of programs for the development of various industries, including the non-ferrous and ferrous metallurgy, food, mechanical engineering, light industry, silkworm breeding and cocoon processing. These programs are aimed at achieving the fourth national goal, — accelerated industrialization and reduction of the pressure of external factors on the economy.
