DUSHANBE, 30.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – In Tehran, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, took part in the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Honorable Masoud Pezeshkian.
High-ranking representatives of almost 80 countries of the world, including a number of heads of state, heads of parliaments and governments of different countries, as well as a large number of representatives of regional and international organizations, arrived in Tehran to participate in the ceremony.
It should be noted that as a result of two rounds of voting in the early presidential elections, Masoud Pezeshkian was elected President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
On July 30, Masoud Pezeshkian officially took office as President of the Islamic Republic of Iran after the inauguration ceremony.
