DUSHANBE, 13.08.2024 /NIAT «Khovar»/. On August 13, 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a briefing on amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On the regulation of celebrations and ceremonies in the Republic of Tajikistan» and the publication of provocative news about the religious policy of the Government of the country for heads and representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organizations accredited in Dushanbe, as well as representatives of domestic and foreign mass media.
During the briefing, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs F. Sharifzoda, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Religion, Regulation of Traditions and Ceremonies under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan O. Farrukhulloh, Chairman of the Islamic Center (Chairman of the Ulema Council) S. Abduqodirzoda, Director of the Center for Islamic Studies A. Kholiqzoda told the audience on the goals of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, amendments, additions and explanations to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On the regulation of celebrations and ceremonies in the Republic of Tajikistan», as well as its achievements and benefits to the people of Tajikistan.
