Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon opened newly-built secondary school No. 48 in Konibodom

DUSHANBE, 10.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 10, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, during his working visit to the city of Konibodom, took part in the opening ceremony of the new and modern building of the general secondary education institution No. 48.
The school building consists of two floors and has 16 well-equipped subject classrooms, including chemistry, biology, computer basics, physics, mathematics, foreign languages, primary military training, as well as teachers’ offices, a library and archives.
During the meeting with the educational conditions, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the new school building for 640 students was planned in two shifts, and the construction work was completed by workers and specialists of domestic companies based on the project with high level and quality.
29 teachers work permanently in the school, 27 of them are women. Most of the specialists of this school are young teachers.
The school’s classrooms are equipped with modern technology and learning tools, such as electronic boards and computers.
In the new building of the educational institution, a spacious sports hall has been built for practicing various sports, which will play a major role in promoting a healthy lifestyle among students and preparing future athletes.
In the courtyard of the general secondary education institution No. 48, a modern sports field for mini-football, basketball and volleyball, and another special field for conducting practical military training lessons was built.
The building of the educational institution was built within the framework of the instructions and orders of the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon with the funding of the Government of the country, and it is intended for the schoolchildren of the village of Somoniyon, rural community named after Rajab Hamroboev.
Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon called upon the students of this educational institution to continuously pursue education in the time of global progress, including the unprecedented development of science and technology, and in the future to make a valuable contribution to the prosperity and development of independent Tajikistan as highly qualified personnel.
According to the Leader of the Nation, the goal of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in building modern educational institutions in all cities and districts of the country is to provide teenagers and young people with proper education and training that meets international standards. With this in mind, the opening of the new school, which coincided with the next anniversary of the State Independence, was considered a valuable gift for the students, and the teachers and management of the school were invited to use the good conditions provided in this institution to improve the level and quality of education and upbringing of the next generation.
