Tajikistan and Guinea-Bissau establish diplomatic relations

DUSHANBE, 30.09.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 27, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin, in the framework of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau Mr. Carlos Pinto Pereira.
During the meeting, the signing ceremony of the Joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic Guinea-Bissau took place. The Joint Communiqué was signed by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the two countries.
The parties discussed the issues of the development of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Guinea-Bissau and their prospects in the political, economic, environmental, as well as in humanitarian areas.
