Tajikistan, Italy introduce visa-free regime for diplomatic passport holders

DUSHANBE, 23.09.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – The Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of the Italian Republic on the abolition of visa regime for holders of diplomatic passports, signed on 23 April 2024 during the official visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon to the Italian Republic, will enter into force on October 14, 2024, after completion of the necessary domestic procedures by both countries.
According to the provisions of this Agreement, citizens of Tajikistan and Italy, who are holders of diplomatic passports, may enter and stay on the territory of each other without visas for a period no more than ninety (90) days within one hundred and eighty (180) days.
