Tajikistan, the USA discusses current bilateral issues

DUSHANBE, 24.09.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On 23 September 2024 in New York, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the Deputy Secretary of State of the United States of America Mr. Richard Verma.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, during the meeting, the parties discussed the current situation and prospects for the development of bilateral and multilateral relations between Tajikistan and the United States in the spheres of security, economy, science and education.
The parties also focused on cooperation in strengthening border security, combating drug trafficking, terrorism and extremism.
