DUSHANBE, 10.07.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On September 10, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, opened the building of preschool education institution No. 2 «Sitora» in the center of the city of Konibodom after reconstruction and got acquainted with its conditions.

The preschool institution was built to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Tajikistan by the Executive body of state power of the city and the contribution of local entrepreneurs. It is intended for 250 pupils.

There are 8 groups in the kindergarten, and 11 experienced teachers train the children by organizing interesting and fun games.

Education in the kindergarten is conducted in the state language, as well as in Russian and English.

It was reported that this institution has been operating since 1959, but was in a state of emergency in recent years. Construction work on the new building began in 2022 and was completed in two years with high quality. During the construction works, a group of local residents were provided with jobs and good salaries.

The building consists of 2 floors and was built with a unique architectural design and style. The appearance of the building is decorated with colorful flowers, persimmons, verandas for outdoor activities, as well as other equipment designed for children’s entertainment.

The corridor and other walls of the institution are colorfully decorated with children’s favorite characters from famous cartoons.

The spacious rooms for activities and rest of the children are equipped with beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs and various toys, and are decorated with high aesthetic taste in accordance with the colorful world of children.

Here, the children presented a short theater scene to the President of the country, Emomali Rahmon.

Honorable Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon presented valuable gifts to the happy children and had a sincere conversation with them.

The Head of State appreciated the conditions created in the institution, and gave instructions and guidance to the officials to provide education and upbringing of children at the necessary level, to awaken in them a sense of patriotism and self-awareness, and to pay tribute to folk customs.
