First deputy foreign minister of Tajikistan meets the USAID official to discuss cooperation

DUSHANBE, 09.10.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On October 8, 2024, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Ismatullo Nasredin received the Deputy Assistant Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) of the of the Bureau for Asia Anjali Kaur.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the state and prospects for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and USAID, with an emphasis on its current projects and programs in the areas of economy, agriculture, migration, healthcare, education, as well as within the framework of their partnership in the Central Asian region on issues of water, energy and trade.
