ICAO EUR/NAT Safety Culture gathers civil aviation representatives in Samarkand

DUSHANBE, 23.10.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. From October 15 to 17, 2024 in Samarkand city of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the next workshop “ICAO EUR/NAT Safety Culture” dedicated to strengthening safety culture in aviation was conducted. The event was attended by representatives of civil aviation from 20 countries, including the Head of the Development Department of the SUE “Tajikairnavigation” Bakhtiyor Sheraliev, as well as representatives of industry organizations – EUROCONTROL, IATA, airlines “Airbus” and “Boeing”.
At the workshop, industry experts discussed key aspects of safety culture, exchanged experience and identified best practices. The focus was on improving flight safety, safety management systems and safety awareness among all participants of the aviation industry.
The seminar was organized with the support of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and aimed at implementing safety improvement goals.
