DUSHANBE, 13.10.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. On October 13, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, took part and delivered a speech at the celebrations of the 33rd anniversary of the State Independence in the city of Khorugh.

Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon assessed the glorious celebration of the independence of the Motherland, which was celebrated by the patriotic and proud people of Badakhshan Mountainous Autonomous Province, as a clear sign of support for the state’s policy.

Today’s magnificent cultural event was called the result of independence and freedom, peace and tranquility, complete political stability and national unity of the honorable people of Tajikistan.

It was emphasized that independence and freedom is the greatest achievement and the most sacred blessing for every people and nation.

It was mentioned that in the era of independence, with the initiative and support of the Government of the Badakhshan Mountainous Autonomous Province, many problems of the residents’ lives were solved, the image of cities and districts changed radically, and as we can see today, the center of the region and a number of its districts have become modern cities.

Taking into account the profound progress, the Honorable Emormali Rahmon, called on the proud people of the region to appreciate independence and freedom, complete peace and stability and national unity, and to protect and cherish these sacred and great gifts of life.
