DUSHANBE, 02.10.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On October 2, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, met in the city of Doha, State of Qatar, with the Founder of Qatar International Islamic Bank, Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah Al Thani.
At the meeting, the current state and development prospects of Tajikistan’s cooperation with this reputable financial institution of Qatar were discussed.
Much attention was paid to the attraction of foreign capital to the economy of Tajikistan, including the implementation of investment projects in sectors that are beneficial for both sides.
Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah Al Thani, who had visited Tajikistan several times and had great love for our country, expressed his willingness to invest in promising sectors. In particular, the implementation of cooperation in the fields of trade, tourism and environmental protection was called attractive and beneficial.
