Tajik representatives attends the meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group in Washington

DUSHANBE, 23.10.2024 /NIAT “Khovar”/. From October 21 to 26, 2024, the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group will be held in Washington, D.C., USA.
These meetings are attended annually by high-level representatives from central (national) banks, ministries of finance, funds, international financial organizations, international agencies, and private sector leaders. The participants will discuss pressing issues, including the macroeconomic outlook, taking into account uncertainties in the global financial market; management of state assets under current conditions; sustainable investments; integration of climate and nature considerations; the role of central banks in asset management; operational challenges; and various forms of effective aid.
Concurrently with meetings and working sessions of various international delegations, seminars, briefings, and other events dedicated to the global economy, international relations development, and the global financial system will be held for a wide range of participants.
The delegation from the Republic of Tajikistan at this year’s annual meetings of the IMF and World Bank Group is represented by
Tolibzoda Firdavs Nazrimad, Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan, and Qahhorzoda Fayziddin Sattor, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan.
