Tajikistan, Belarus discuss prospects for development of bilateral relations

DUSHANBE, 15.10.2024 /NIAT Khovar/. On October 14, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sodiq Imomi met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Tajikistan Viktor Denisenko.
According to the Tajik MFA information Department, during the meeting, the parties discussed the state and prospects of development of relations of strategic partnership between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as issues of protecting the rights of Tajik citizens residing in the Republic of Belarus, and exchanged views on cooperation between Tajikistan and Belarus within the framework of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation and in the framework of international and regional organizations.
The talks were held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere.
