On October 14, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, returned to Dushanbe city after his working visit to the cities and districts of Badakhshan Mountainous Autonomous Province and meeting with regional activists.

The farewell ceremony of the Honorable Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, was carried out by the residents of the region as a way of welcoming the distinguished guest at the central airport of Khorugh city with pomp and show of gratitude of the people for their Leader. People of culture and grateful residents of the region with special sincerity saw off the high-ranking guest with music and joy and a beautiful badakshi performance.

We remind that the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon was on a working visit to Rushon, Ishkoshim, Roshtqal’a districts and Khorugh city as part of the celebration of the 33rd anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan from October 12 to 14.

In the course of his constructive visit, the Honorable Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon opened a number of facilities of various purposes, which were built with the support of the Government of the country and by the hardworking people of the cities and districts of the region in support of the constructive policy of the state, and started the construction of a number of other facilities. 

Within the framework of this visit, about 100 facilities were opened, and the foundation was laid for the construction of dozens more. Only in the field of education, 5 general education institutions and 8 preschool institutions were commissioned.

One of the main goals of the visit of the Honorable Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon was to meet and talk closely with the enthusiast people of the cities and districts of the region, to get to know their living conditions and to design new plans for the social and economic development of this mountainous region of our dear country.

During the cordial meetings, the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon congratulated the residents of the region on the 33rd anniversary of the State Independence of Tajikistan and guided them to the expansion of constructive work for the worthy preparation of celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of our beloved Motherland.
