DUSHANBE, 10.12.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On December 3, 2024, at the Top Asia Corporate Ball 2024, Tajikistan was awarded with the prestigious Asia’s Best Nation for Natural Scenery Tourism Award. This award reflects international recognition of Tajikistan’s amazing natural landscapes, including the Pamir and Fann Mountains, alpine lakes like Iskandarkul and Karakul. The tourism community of Malaysia highlighted Tajikistan’s commitment to sustainable tourism and environmental preservation has positioned it as a premier destination for eco-conscious travellers.
The award was presented to Ardasher Qodiri, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Malaysia. The Top 10 of Asia magazine, one of the most prestigious media outlets in Southeast Asia, conducted extensive research, gathering insights from travellers and tourism professionals and came to this conclusion. This award testifies to Tajikistan’s growing attractiveness as one of the most popular tourist destinations and the country’s efforts to promote its natural and cultural heritage on the world stage.
