Tajikistan Ends 2024 in 104th place in the FIFA Ranking

DUSHANBE, 21.12.2024 (NIAT Khovar) – On December 19, the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) published the ranking of national teams — the final one for 2024.
The national football team of Tajikistan with 1203.08 points ranks 104th. Among the AFC representatives, Tajik team is in 17th place. A year ago, Tajikistan occupied 106th place in the FIFA ranking and 19th place among Asian teams.
In total, in the outgoing year, the Tajik team played 15 official matches, winning 6, drawing 2.
In addition, in 2024, Tajikistan played one friendly match with the Hong Kong national team in Abu Dhabi, which they won with a score of 2:1.
The Tajik team will play its next official match on March 25 in Dushanbe. This match will be played as part of the first round of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifying tournament in Group A against the East Timor team.
