DUSHANBE, 21.01.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – The Calendar of Navruz-2025 Events in Dushanbe has been approved. In this regard, the relevant Resolution of the Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali was signed, reports the Department for the Tourism Development of the Mayor’s Office.

Based on this calendar, a number of events will be held in the capital of Tajikistan during the International Navruz holiday, including the IV International Forum entitled “Navruz of Dushanbe — the axis of cultural and tourist relations”, the ceremony of welcoming the International Navruz holiday from the highest point of Dushanbe, a festive concert dedicated to the celebration of the International Navruz holiday, the international tourism festival entitled “Navruz of Dushanbe – 2025”, the festival “National Cuisine”, the festival “Sports Games of Navruz”, cultural programs in the districts of the capital, Festival of Friendship of the Capital’s Youth entitled “Youth — followers of the Leader of the Nation and heirs of the traditions of Navruz”, the national gushtingiri wrestling competition and equestrian and goat-pulling competitions.

Also, travel agencies will receive a calendar, and travel packages will be developed and implemented.

Based on the calendar, the Department for Tourism Development saved high-quality advertising videos about the Navruz-2025 events on Google Drive, which those who wish can download using a QR code.

The calendar was developed and approved with the aim of developing and expanding the tourism sector, forming and presenting the national tourism brand, promoting tourism products, protecting, developing, rationally using natural and recreational resources and the historical and cultural heritage of the country, especially Dushanbe, as well as celebrating the International Navruz holiday at a high level.
