DUSHANBE, 18.04.2025 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Today the Chairman of Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali took part in the 58th plenary session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS), which is taking place in St. Petersburg, Russian Federation, reports parliament’s press-office.
The session was attended by the chairmen of parliaments and parliamentary delegations of the Republics of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation.
As part of the agenda of the plenary session several draft model laws of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States Member States were approved. These included the adoption of model codes in the field of education and agriculture, laws regulating tax policy and the use of artificial intelligence.
