Tajik Culture to Be Part of the High-Level International Conference on Glaciers’ Preservation

DUSHANBE, 26.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – As part of the upcoming High-Level International Conference on Glaciers’ Preservation, a cultural program titled «Call of the Glacier» will take place on May 29 at the Waterfall Square near Dushanbe’s «Navruzgoh» complex, according to the Ministry of Culture.
The event will feature an exhibition showcasing Tajik folk crafts, offering Dushanbe residents and visitors a chance to explore a variety of traditional handicrafts. Artisans will present their work, including embroidery, weaving, jewelry, pottery, baked goods, and national dishes.
In addition, the cultural program will feature performances of Tajik national songs and dances, presented by leading national ensembles.
The High-Level International Conference on Glaciers’ Preservation will take place from May 29 through May 31 in Dushanbe. The conference is organized within the framework of global initiatives by the President of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, focusing on vital issues related to water conservation and climate change.
