DUSHANBE, 13.05.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – With the new season fast approaching, the Women’s Football League of Tajikistan held an extended meeting at the Tajikistan Football Federation’s office, bringing together team representatives and coaches to discuss preparations

At the meeting, Suhrob Ashurov, Director of the Women’s Football League of Tajikistan, outlined the format for the upcoming season’s competition.

The eighth season of the Tajikistan Women’s Championship will feature ten teams, split into two groups of five. They’ll face each other over four rounds, with the top three teams from each group moving on to the final stage of the competition.

Fifteen teams will compete in the Tajikistan U-17 Girls’ Championship, split into three groups. Teams will face each other over three rounds in the first stage, with the group winners and the best runner-up advancing to the finals.

In the youngest age group, the Tajikistan Women’s U-15 Championship will feature 20 teams, divided into five groups, with four teams in each. The group winners, as well as the best second-place team, will advance to the final stage of the tournament.

The new season of the competition under the auspices of the Tajikistan Women’s Football League will begin in May and conclude in November.
